We aim to collect as little as possible. Specifically:

• The prelaunch list. If you ask to be notified when we launch, we collect the email address you enter, the time you submitted it, and which part of the page it came from. We do not ask for your name, your celebration, or anything else.
• Information you give us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you choose to share — such as your name, email address, and message.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may process limited technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages securely and reliably.

We do not currently run user accounts, payments, or a marketplace on this website, so we do not collect that kind of information here.

We use the information you share to:

• respond to your enquiry and stay in touch about it;
• email you about our launch if you joined the prelaunch list;
• understand interest and improve the website.

If you joined the prelaunch list, we will only write to you about The Simcha Company becoming available and a small number of meaningful updates along the way. We will not send you marketing from anyone else, and we will not add you to any other list. Ask us to remove you at any time by emailing hello@thesimchacompany.com, and we will.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use real customer or vendor data for testing.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

This website is designed to work without intrusive tracking. We use only what’s essential for the site to function, plus privacy-respecting, cookieless, aggregate analytics (through our hosting provider, Vercel) that measure general usage without identifying you or following you across the web. We do not use advertising or cross-site trackers.

We rely on reputable infrastructure to run this site — hosting on Vercel, and Resend to deliver the email that carries a prelaunch signup to our own inbox. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the website and may have their own privacy terms. Fonts are served from our own infrastructure rather than calling third-party font services at runtime.

We keep messages you send us only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and then for a reasonable period for our records. Addresses on the prelaunch list are kept until we launch and have told you about it, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. You can ask us to delete your message, your address, and your contact details at any time.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email hello@thesimchacompany.com and we’ll take care of it.

This website is intended for adults planning celebrations. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
