Start here. Before you know what you’re doing.

Almost nobody begins a simcha knowing how it works. SimchaStart is being built to be the first thing you open — a calm way to see what's out there, learn what things involve, and put a rough shape on the celebration long before anything is booked.

In Development — SimchaStart is being built now and isn't open to the public yet. Tell us what you're planning and we'll come back to you when it is.

The questions it’s built around
  • Where do I even begin?
  • What does this normally cost?
  • Who's good, and who's available?
  • How far ahead do I need to book?
  • What am I forgetting?
  • Is this a reasonable price?
The problem it solves

The hardest part of a simcha is the beginning.

Not the budget, and not the day itself. The beginning — when you don’t yet know what you don’t know, when every answer arrives second-hand, and when the only way to find out what something costs is to ask someone and wait. People delay starting because starting is genuinely unclear, and then everything afterwards is compressed.

SimchaStart exists to remove that. Not to sell you anything on day one — just to let you look.

Look around before you commit

Browse by what you're making and where you are, without an account, a form, or a salesperson.

Understand a category

What a photographer, a hall, or a caterer actually involves — what varies, what to ask, what changes the price.

Compare honestly

Put options side by side on the things that matter, instead of holding six browser tabs in your head.

Keep a shortlist

Save what you like as you find it, so the good option you saw on Tuesday is still there on Sunday.

Where it leads

Beginning somewhere shouldn’t mean beginning again.

What you work out at the start — what you’re making, roughly when, roughly how many, who you liked — is the same information every later part of planning needs. SimchaStart is being designed so that work carries forward into SimchaHQ rather than being retyped into a second system.

These products are being built as one ecosystem and designed to work together. They are not yet connected in a shipped product, and this page won’t claim otherwise until they are.
